1.  Exams are offered every two months. Prince George's County exams are held at the Studio in Bowie.  Howard County exams are held at the Columbia location.  Montgomery County exams are announced and held at their respective site. 

2.  Black Belt Exams are held 1-2 times a year at the studio in Bowie.

3.  Two Intramural Tournaments are held each year, one in the fall and one in the Spring. KIK students can compete in forms and fighting. All youth competitors receive a participation trophy. Divisions are broken down into age groups and belt ranks. The next Intramural Tournament will be held in December (contact KIK for date).

4.  Our Open House is held annually. Come join us and meet the instructors.  Watch exciting demonstrations by the KIK students and instructors.  Enjoy refreshments and try your luck at the door prizes.

5.  We offer all KIK students Pizza Parties who receive an A or B in behavior and work habits on their report cards from their respective schools at the Bowie Studio. Work hard in school and you can be included in our quarterly pizza party.

6.  We have a Halloween Party at the Bowie Studio open to all of our students. Dress up in your costume and get "Tricked or Treated" by the senior staff and all interested goblins with games, prizes and refreshments.

7.  Summer Day Camp - Bowie Studio is held from July 7-11 and July 14-18.  We offer a Summer Day camp from 9:00-4:00.  Students can earn stripes and train for the belt test during camp.  Students go on three filed trips during the week.  Summer Day Camp at Columbia is held from August 11-15 and August 18-22.   

8.  Summer Karate Camp - July 27 to August 2.
Overnight Karate Camp is held at the Randolph Macon Academy in Front Royal Viginia. It is a beautiful location surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains.  We have use of the entire Middle School Facilities which includes a gymnasium, and dorm with air conditioning and two recreation rooms.
